Jenn and Daniel got married in December a couple weeks before Christmas. It was such a fun and beautiful day! Jenn and her girls got ready at The Henry Manor here in Lancaster and Daniel and his guys got ready at a family home. The ceremony was at a church in Lithopolis and then we wrapped up the reception at The Mill Event Center!
Jenn and Daniel's wedding day was a crazy windy day, with rain here and there, and super cold, but we made it work! The Henry Manor was perfect for getting ready photos and some of my favorites are of Jenn and her momma getting ready in front of the big window. The church was a perfect for their ceremony and I loved the big Christmas tree in they had behind them. After the ceremony, we photographed family formals and the wedding party. It was so cold and windy that it was too much to take everyone outside, so I just took Jenn and Daniel outside for their portraits and did everything else inside.
Jenn and Daniel are the perfect example that the weather doesn't have to be perfect for you to still have beautiful photos. Jenn's veil was swinging around like crazy with the wind, but I still love how their photos turned out and you can't even tell that it was so windy. We also didn't have too much time for their portraits and they still got a good amount of photos!
After all the photos were done, we headed to The Mill for the reception. I loved how Jenn and Daniel decorated the reception space. So pretty! Now that I'm a mom, mother and son dances always make me tear up and Daniel and his momma's dance was no different. Jenn and her dad's first dance was also emotional! I always say this, but one of my favorite things about photographing weddings is just capturing all that love.
After dinner, we had toasts and cake cutting and then it was time to hit the dance floor! Jenn wanted a big photo of all her guests and it was a great way to get everyone on the dance floor - I highly recommend that if having all your guests dance is important to you. Jenn and Daniel's wedding was amazing and the perfect way to end the wedding season just before Christmas!
