Jessica and Joey tied the knot a couple weeks ago at The Mercantile in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. The Mercantile is a beautiful wedding venue and it showcased Jessica and Joey’s details and wedding perfectly. When I arrived, Jessica and her bridesmaids were all finished with hair and makeup and just hanging out. That was the first wedding I’ve ever walked into that was so calm! It was a great start to the day.
Since the girls were already ready, we had Jessica’s mom help her into her dress. Jessica’s train was amazing! Everyone loved it. Jessica had a first look with her dad and then gave gifts to her parents and Joey’s momma before walking down the aisle. Jessica and Joey’s ceremony was beautiful! It was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony.
After the ceremony, we photographed family formals and then the wedding party. Jessica didnt want typical wedding party shots, so we got creative and did something new! I love how they turned out. We had so much time left in the timeline that we did a ton of bride and groom portraits. I love all of them so much; it’s hard to pick favorites!
After portraits, we immediately celebrated by dancing. Jessica and Joey’s DJ, Jomar, from Josh Staley Productions had each member of the wedding party go out and grab a guest and bring them onto the dance floor to get the party started. I had never seen that before, but it was such a fun way to include everyone!
After speeches, dinner and lots of crazy dance moves, we ended the night with sunset photos and a sparkler send off. It was so great to photograph at The Mercantile again and to celebrate with Jessica and Joey and their family!
