Kensy and KC tied the knot at the end of September at The Mill Event Center in Lancaster, Ohio. It was such a beautiful day! Before the wedding, Kensy had a first look with her dad; which was so sweet! She and KC also had a private first touch. A first touch is like a first look, but without the looking! Kensy and KC held hands around a door and had just a moment to themselves before getting married.
The ceremony took place outside on the pavilion and it was a beautiful day for it! One of my favorite moments from the ceremony was as Kensy’s dad walked her down the aisle. Kensy was tearing up and her dad was cheesing from ear to ear! After the ceremony, we photographed family, the wedding party, and then it came time for Kensy and KC’s portraits. I love doing the couple’s portraits because it gives them time to enjoy themselves without anyone else and they can take a breather together.
Kensy and KC’s reception space was stunning! I don’t think I’ve ever taken as many detail photos as I did that day. Party Plus really did a great job with the decor! After dinner, we went outside for sunset photos and Kensy and KC read their private vows to each other. This is a really sweet idea for couples who maybe don’t want to share their vows in front of their family and friends. I typically get to be a part of that moment for photos and I always enjoy hearing a couple's vows to love each other forever.
I’m so grateful that Kensy and KC chose me to photograph their big day. It was so much fun!
